4across 

4across is a group we are not a band.

A band is something that constricts; we are 4 individuals who when playing together form a group. 

We play for an audience of One spreading His word thru our love of music,and spreading His seed of Salvation to those who listen and seek His Glory.

Ray was in Backstreet Station and Overland Vegetable Express before devoting himself to strictly Christian music.

Some of his influences are Moody Blues, Classic Rock, Doo Wop, Crimson Rain, NBJ, Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Newsboys, CDB, and Carmen ("old school")

Jeff played guitar in a locally well-known band, The Fender Benders.

His Influences include: Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Stones, ACDC, Jeff Beck, Clapton, and BB King. His Christian influences are NBJ, Rocksalt, Newsboys, Casting Crowns, and Mercy Me

Howie has a long history of drums, playing for such bands as Friends and Elisha.

His major influences are R&B, Southern Rock, Joe Walsh and the James Gang, Chris Tomlin, Mark W Smith, 3rd Day, Switchfoot, NBJ, and Crimson Rain

Arty before playing for 4across had never played in a band. He is the baby not only in being a Christian but also as a musician having played bass for only 5 years.

His influences are too many to mention, liking everything from ABBA to Zappa, it is easier to say what his non-influences are; He doesn't like Country, Hip-Hop, or Rap.

Jeff Seamans Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals. 
 

Howie Lambert Drums,  Percussions (ting-a- tings ) and backing vocals

Arte Kurtz Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals.

Also we have A.J. Kurtz (thats right Arty's boy-o) as our Sound and Recording Engineer.
 

We also would like to welcome the newest member to the 4across ministry Warren Borders who will be our  sound man. So AJ can pursue his new career of being a Dad and Newlywed!!
